Exceptional nursing is critical to the success of any hospital. Nurses ease pain, comfort fear, celebrate triumphs, and mourn losses with our patients and families – all while providing highly skilled medical care. Inspired by Florence Nightingale’s pioneering work in nursing, The Nightingale Society at St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital supports our frontline caregivers by raising funds for:
- Technical training and advanced certification programs
- Scholarships for nurses to pursue bachelor and graduate degrees in nursing
- Scholarships for hospital employees who want to become nurses
- Clinical research
- Retention activities to attract and keep the area’s best caregivers
Membership in the Nightingale Society is offered on an annual basis and, depending on your giving level, enables you to be recognized in printed materials and the opportunity to attend special events and tours.
