The Differentiated Practice Model (DPM) is a career progression program that enables clinical nurses to determine their professional growth within the organization. Registered nursing level requirements are clearly defined and are consistently applied across the division. Requirements for each level are developed according to the pillars of the Magnet model: Empirical Outcomes, Structural Empowerment, New Knowledge, Innovation and Improvement, Exemplary Professional Practice, Transformational Leadership, and Education and Certification. Professional Enhancement Program
The Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) is a reward and recognition program that provides annual incentives for nursing excellence performed outside of normal duties. Incentive dollars are earned through participation in programs, volunteer opportunities, and other work that advances skills, experience, and professionalism. Participation in our program offers increased opportunities to learn and grow in the profession, enhanced earning potential, scalable and varied participation options, and expanded opportunity to impact the organization and our community.
A foundation in Magnet organizations is shared leadership—a governance structure that gives nurses across care settings a voice to affect their practice and the care provided to patients. Shared Leadership is the working model of participatory decision-making in which nurses are organized to make decisions about clinical practice standards, quality improvement, staff and professional development, and research.
