Stress testing provides information about how your heart works during physical stress. Some heart problems are easier to diagnose when your heart is working hard and beating fast. During the test, you will walk on a treadmill to monitor the electrical activity of your heart and measure your blood pressure during exercise.
Color Doppler Echocardiograms
Echocardiography (or Echo) is a diagnostic test that uses ultrasound waves to create an image of the heart muscle. An Echo may show such abnormalities as poorly functioning heart valves or damage to the heart tissue from a past heart attack. The test is completed to diagnose certain cardiovascular diseases such as:
