Prepared Childbirth Classes

In order to maintain the health of our delivering families as well as our visitors, we are temporarily postponing all classes and support groups offered at our Family Birthing Center. If you have already registered for one, a member of our team will reach out shortly with further details.

St. Luke’s Health–The Vintage Hospital is excited to offer childbirth education and breastfeeding classes. We understand that pregnancy and childbirth can be exciting and uncertain, which is why our classes cover all of the topics essential to pregnancy and childbirth.

All classes, open to the public, are taught by experienced labor and delivery, postpartum and NICU nurses at St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital. The classes offer the opportunity to meet other expectant couples and enjoy a tour of the hospital’s labor and delivery center.

Cost: $65 - Cash or check collected at the first class
When: Four week series, every Tuesday from 5:30pm-9:30pm. The series begins the first Tuesday of each month. One Saturday class is offered monthly from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Breastfeeding Free Virtual Classes

This class is your first step to learning the basics about breastfeeding and what to expect in the first few weeks. You will learn about the benefits of breastfeeding as well as multiple techniques to help you succeed. We encourage partners or a family member to attend with the expectant mom.

Pandemic Postpartum Support Group-Virtual

The birth of a baby is already challenging, but having a baby during a pandemic can create added stress and uncertainty, making it hard to prepare for one of the most exciting events in your life. "Join" us as a group zoom to discuss about the challenges, stresses and experiences we have learned.
