Monte Bostwick

Market CEO/President

As the Market Chief Executive Officer and President, Monte Bostwick is responsible for strategic planning and St. Luke's Health-Memorial's integration with Catholic Health Initiatives. He works closely with CHI Texas Division and Memorial leaders, staff, and physicians to enhance healthcare delivery and strengthen the quality and effectiveness of services provided to our patients and the community. Mr. Bostwick began his tenure with St. Luke's Health-Memorial as the Market CEO/President in 2016.

Mr. Bostwick previously served as CEO of Merit Health in Biloxi, Mississippi, an acute care, 198-bed private hospital with a joint venture ASC and multiple physician clinics in a highly competitive market. Before that he served as CEO at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center in Yakima, Washington, CEO at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory, Mississippi, and CEO/COO at Toppenish Community Hospital in Toppenish, Washington.

Mr. Bostwick earned a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lubbock Christian University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and served on the Mississippi Hospital Association Legislative & Systems of Care Committees.

He and his wife Mandy have four children Ian, Gracen and Canaan.

Mary Franklin

Senior Vice President of Patient Care Service

Mary Franklin joined the Memorial team as Market Vice President of Patient Care Services in 2017. With more than 25 years of experience in health care, Ms. Franklin works closely with the nursing staff across the system providing clinical leadership.

Ms. Franklin came to East Texas from Merit Health Biloxi in Biloxi, Mississippi, where she has served since 2014 as Chief Nursing Officer. Prior to her service at Merit Health, Ms. Franklin was the Chief Nursing Executive for six years at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory, Mississippi. She moved up the ranks at Gilmore Memorial as a PRN nurse working on her bachelor and master’s degree in Nursing, and then served as the Women and Children’s Health Services Director for four years.

In addition to her Master’s degree from Samford University, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama and graduating from Itawamba Community College, Ms. Franklin is currently working toward a Doctorate degree in Nursing Leadership.

Darlene Williams

Vice President of Clinical Operations, St. Luke's Health-Memorial San Augustine

As Vice President of Clinical Operations for St. Luke's Health-Memorial San Augustine, Darlene Williams is responsible for the daily operations of the hospital, including staffing, budgetary preparation, quality of care and customer satisfaction.

Ms. Williams has more than 25 years health care experience with St. Luke's Health-Memorial. In fact, Ms. Williams has worked across the hospital system an Associate Administrator, Director of Nursing, Director of Critical Care Nursing, and Director of Medical Surgical Nursing.

Ms. Williams is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is a member of the American Institute of Outcomes, Case Management; and Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Locally, Ms. Williams is a member of the San Augustine Chamber of Commerce and is the chairperson for the Rural East Texas Health Network.

Kristi Froese

Kristi Froese

Vice President of Clinical Operations, St. Luke's Health-Memorial Livingston

As Vice President of Clinical Operations for St. Luke's Health-Memorial Livingston, Kristi Froese oversees the clinical aspect of the hospital’s day to day operations, supervises nurses and nurse managers, and facilitates the design and implements the delivery of patient care.

Mrs. Froese has extensive experience in adult and pediatric acute care, as well as nursing management and supervision. She comes to Livingston from Wichita, Kansas, where she was the Pediatric Nursing Director at Wesley Medical Center, a large HCA facility delivering more than 6,000 babies per year.

Mrs. Froese received her masters degree in Health Care Leadership from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and her bachelor degree in Nursing from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma.

Shelli Brooks

Market Vice President, Operational Finance

With 28 years of industry experience, Shelli Brooks assumed the role of Market Vice President, Operational Finance & CFO in February 2020 after serving as interim CFO from July 2019. Shelli oversees and manages the costs and budget for our three hospitals, and her duties include reviewing financial reports, assessing funding streams, determining how and in which departments she can improve efficiencies while maintaining low costs. Her leadership has been instrumental in developing projects to improve revenue cycle initiatives that align with our budgeted goals.

No stranger to Lufkin and East Texas, Shelli started her healthcare career at Nacogdoches Medical Center, a Tenet Healthcare facility in 1994. She joined Memorial East Texas in June 2002 as Director of Marketing and transitioned to Finance in 2006. Before her role as CFO, she was Manager of Decision Support Services.

Shelli earned a Master of Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from LeTourneau University. She is a member of American College of Healthcare Executives and Healthcare Financial Management Association. Shelli and her husband Jeff have two married children, Logan and his wife Dylan, and Hannah and her husband Taylor.

Dan Watson

Market Vice President of Physician Enterprise

As St. Luke's Health-Memorial’s Market Vice President of Physician Enterprises, Dan Watson’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the growth and development of Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group (formerly Memorial Clinics), physician recruitment, and seeking additional opportunities to grow with our physician partners.

While at St. Joseph in Bryan, Texas, Mr. Watson was operationally responsible for 16 primary care, urgent care and ENT practices, including 120 employees and 45 providers. During that time he reduced expenses, increased employee satisfaction from the 70th percentile to the 94th percentile and was responsible for the on-boarding of several multi-specialty practices.

Prior to moving to Texas, Mr. Watson served as Director of Operations for Gentiva Home Health – the nation’s largest provider of home health and hospice services – in Little Rock, and the Director of Business Development for Gentiva Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri. He got his start in health care as the Administrator of a 160-bed long term care facility in Kansas City.

Mr. Watson graduated with his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Webster University in 2011 and his Bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University in 2003. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Geriatric Society.

Tina Alexander-Sellers

Tina Alexander-Sellers

Market Director of Marketing & Communications

As Market Director of Marketing and Communications, Tina Alexander-Sellers develops strategic marketing programs and partnerships across the three-hospital system to advance the organization's mission, vision and goals of creating healthier communities. Ms. Alexander-Sellers has worked for St. Luke’s Health-Memorial since 2012, previously guiding its Community Outreach and Physician Relations team.

Prior to her work at St. Luke's Health-Memorial, Ms. Alexander-Sellers was News Director at KTRE-TV where she successfully recruited and developed a diverse staff of reporters and news operations personnel that maintained a #1 viewership ranking in the marketplace.

As a community volunteer, she serves on the Angelina County United Way Board and Budget Committee and is the hospital's campaign chair. She also serves on the Volunteer Services Council for Lufkin State Assisted Living Center, and is a member of the Angelina County Health Alliance, Angelina County Active Living Council, City of Lufkin Steering Committee and is president of the Lufkin Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Ms. Alexander-Sellers is the recipient of many awards, including most recently, the prestigious Individual of Merit Award given to exceptional health care professionals by the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and the 2018 recipient of the Hospital of the Year Award presented by Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.

She is a graduate of Lufkin High School, Stephen F. Austin State University and McCormick Tribune Fellows Program-Media Management Center, Northwestern University.

Curtis Prunty

Market Director of Mission Integration

As St. Luke’s Health-Memorial’s first Market Director of Mission Integration, Curtis Prunty facilitates awareness of the ministry as a sacred work of healing dedicated to holistic care of body, mind and spirit.

Mr. Prunty helps the hospital and its staff to live out our core values of reverence for all we serve and for all creation; integrity in everything we do; compassion in solidarity with patients, families and communities; and excellence, giving top quality care in every encounter. Mr. Prunty oversees Spiritual Care Services, the Ethics dimension of our ministry, Workplace Spirituality and Healthy Communities.

Curtis comes to us from Joplin, Missouri where he is senior minister at Mt. Hope Church and adjunct instructor at Ozark Christian College. Curtis has a Bachelor’s of Christian Ministry from Ozark Christian College and a Master’s of Organizational Leadership from Lincoln Christian University.

Eric Robinson

Senior Vice President of Operations

As the Market Senior Vice President of Operations, Eric Robinson is responsible for the oversight of ancillary support services and directors across the East Texas Market which includes Lufkin, Livingston and San Augustine. He works closely with the Market President/CEO to manage prioritization and utilization of both the operating and the capital budgets. He also manages physician and third party vendor contracts. He worked with the Senior Leader Team to implement a rural track family practice Graduate Medical Education Residency Program and oversees the administrative and clinic spaces for the program.

Mr. Robinson has served as the Chief Executive Officer for several hospitals in Mississippi including Community Health Systems prior to joining St. Luke’s Health-Memorial in 2018.

Mr. Robinson has a Master of Science in Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and he serves on numerous community boards including the East Texas Cancer Alliance of Hope and the Lufkin/Angelina County Economic Development Partnership.

Kaywin Carter, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Kaywin Carter is Chief Medical Officer for St. Luke’s Health Memorial – Lufkin effective September 19, 2022.

Dr. Carter has served the communities of East Texas as an OB/GYN physician for over 30 years.  During this time she has also held a number of leadership roles on the medical staff including Chief of Staff, Vice Chief Staff and Secretary.  In addition, Dr. Carter serves as the leader for the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group physician specialists and also the medical director for the hospital’s women’s services.

In her role as Chief Medical Officer Dr. Carter leads our clinical and quality initiatives alongside our nursing leaders while also serving the over 400 medical staff members that partner with the hospital.  Her leadership is imperative as we continue to build upon our success in multiple areas including hospital acquired infections, length of stay as well as our overall patient experience scores.

Jennie Jordan

Jennie Jordan is the Market Administrator for Cardiovascular, Nephrology, Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine services lines at St. Luke’s Health-Memorial.

Jennie first came to Memorial in January 1987 as a PBX operator, working her way up through the business office ranks. In February 1992, she transferred to the Medical Staff Office as a Credentialing Specialist and became Medical Staff Coordinator in 1998.  In 2000, she advanced to Director of Medical Affairs.  

In accepting the position Jennie said, “I love every aspect of working at Memorial - especially the relationships I have developed with the physicians and colleagues I have been blessed to encounter while working here.   I have served on numerous committees including the United Way campaign, the Policies & Procedures Committee, Staff Satisfaction Committee and the various medical staff committees in Lufkin, Livingston, and San Augustine.”

As the Service Line Administrator (SLA), Jennie IS responsible for the development and implementation of the service line strategic business plan, and for the short, medium and long term financial results thereof.

Jennie is also responsible for the effective delivery of quality patient care throughout the Memorial market as well as relationship building with operational clinical staff, which is imperative to assure responsiveness to the needs of patients and physicians. 

A relationship of understanding and trust between operational staff, physicians and the SLA is essential for the successful realization of expectations and the building of volume and market share of the service line. Jennie’s vast experience with Memorial and her recognition for outstanding dedication to physicians, employees and patients throughout her tenure should serve her well in this area.

While working full time at Memorial, Jennie returned to college and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and a Master of Business Administration both from Stephen F. Austin State University.

She is a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) from the National Association of Medical Staff Services and a Credentialed Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from the Healthcare Financing.

Jennie is a graduate of Leadership Lufkin and has served as the Secretary for the Angelina Rotary Club.  She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the First United Methodist Church in Diboll and supports civic and athletic events in Diboll.

Regina McDonald

Regina McDonald is the market director of Human Resources at St. Luke’s Health Memorial. 

Regina McDonald joined CHI Texas Division’s Memorial Market as an HR Compensation and Benefit Specialist in 2008. Since then, she has continued to grow her knowledge of and experience in the HR functions in a variety of roles including Finance Application Analyst, System HRIS Analyst, and Human Resources Business Partner. She was appointed Interim Director, Human Resources, in June of this year, and has since converted all Sodexo EVS positions in Lufkin and Livingston facilities to CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial employees. She has seen an attendance rate of greater than 80 percent at the market’s town hall meetings, and has maintained recruiting and hiring functions in spite of the absence of a recruiter. 

A talented leader and HR professional, Regina serves as an operational leader, trusted advisor, and partner by providing HR guidance to support the organization’s business objectives and deliver on key goals. She is fundamental to supporting and implementing change management initiatives, integrated cultural standards consistent with those of the larger organization, and creating the workforce planning strategy for the Memorial market.
