St. Luke’s Health is a part of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), one of the nation’s largest faith-based health systems. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, CHI operates in 17 states and comprises 100 hospitals, including two academic medical centers and a major teaching hospital; 30 critical-access hospitals; community health services organizations; accredited nursing colleges; home health agencies; and other services that span the inpatient and outpatient continuum of care.

CHI Texas Division is comprised of three markets: St. Luke’s Health in the Greater Houston and Lake Jackson areas, St. Luke’s Health-Memorial in East Texas, and St. Joseph Health in the Brazos Valley. St. Luke’s Health is home to the Texas Heart® Institute (THI), eight hospitals, eight community emergency centers, a Diagnostic & Treatment Center and Radiation & CyberKnife® Center, and several Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group locations throughout Greater Houston; St. Luke’s Health-Memorial is comprised of three hospitals and a long-term acute care facility. St. Joseph Health consists of five hospitals and 20 ambulatory clinics, including primary care, a freestanding emergency room, and express clinics.
