Why Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center: The supportive yet challenging environment at BSLMC drew Mackenzie to this residency program. Being home to the Texas Heart Institute in addition to the well-known reputation for excellence in cardiology helped Mackenzie know that she would have ample learning opportunities here.
