About Me: Ryan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at University of the Pacific as part of the 2+3 pre-pharmacy program before completing his PGY1 pharmacy residency at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ryan’s goals after completing his PGY2 residency is to return to California and obtain a cardiology pharmacist position at an academic medical center to continue lifelong learning as well as serving as a mentor to both pharmacy students and residents. In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing basketball, traveling, photography, and watching movies/TV shows.
Why Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center: Ryan’s interest in BSLMC stemmed from the Texas Heart Institute which offers limitless opportunities in a welcoming learning environment to build upon cardiology knowledge with so many unique patients and complexities. These opportunities provide Ryan with all the experiences he is looking for to prepare him for his upcoming career along with the guidance of the great preceptors.
