About Me: Sidney received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Houston and completed her PGY1 residency at BSLMC. She loved her experience at BSLMC and stayed on to complete her PGY2 in Solid Organ Transplant. Upon completion of postgraduate training, Sidney’s professional goal is to obtain a clinical position at an academic medical center or transplant clinic. In her free time, Sidney enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her two dogs.

Why Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center: Sidney was interested in BSLMC as it is a large academic hospital located in the Texas Medical Center and offers a well-rounded selection of pharmacy rotations. BSLMC is also home to a world-renowned transplant center, providing an incredible opportunity for exposure in her field of interest. The BSLMC Pharmacy Residency Program is run by wonderful preceptors who genuinely care about each resident’s success and well-being. Sidney is proud to be a part of the Baylor St. Luke’s pharmacy family.

Current Research: Impact of low dose apixaban with concomitant voriconazole and outcomes in lung transplant

About Me: Katie received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy, MBA at the University of Memphis, PGY1 at CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri and is a current Solid Organ Transplant PGY2. Her clinical interests include solid organ transplant and ambulatory care. Upon completion of postgraduate training, Katie’s professional goal is to obtain a clinical position at an academic medical center or transplant clinic. In her free time, Katie enjoys riding her Peloton, binge watching Netflix shows, and spending time with her dog Bubba.

Why Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center: Katie was interested in BSLMC as it is a large academic hospital located in the Texas Medical Center and offers a well-rounded selection of solid organ transplant rotations. The BSLMC program allows for two month long rotations which allows the residents to take charge as the pharmacist on each transplant service. The BSLMC Pharmacy Residency Program is run by wonderful preceptors who genuinely care about each resident’s success and well-being.
