Approximately 500 Pounds of Non-Perishable Food Donated to Local Charity

Approximately 500 pounds of non-perishable food items were recently donated by Memorial Medical Center – Lufkin and the environmental services management group, Sodexo, to the Salvation Army soup kitchen.  MMC-Lufkin employees were challenged to donate non-perishable food items that would be matched by Sodexo for a local charity resulting in the large donation.  Felipe Galindo, Environmental Services (ES) Manager; Michael Rankin, ES General Manager; Manuel Marini, Executive Chef; Michael Hodgkin, Food and Nutrition General Manager and Bobby Pederzani, Food and Nutrition Employee and 2012 event organizer, show off the food items that were donated.  Sodexo manages the cafeteria and house keeping at MMC-Lufkin.
