Inpatient services at the McNair Campus will include 60 orthopedic and physical rehabilitation beds, as well as outpatient surgical services for orthopedics. Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation services will also be opened on the McNair Campus.

Baylor St. Luke’s will also offer outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services at its McNair campus, complementary to its nationally-renowned cardiovascular and lung programs.

Additionally, the McNair Campus will provide a centralized location for Baylor’s NCI-designated Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center. The campus is already home to many Baylor College of Medicine outpatient clinics, and plans include additional clinics and physician office space encompassing over 40 subspecialty physician clinics and more than 200 physicians.

“We are excited to announce the opening of additional patient care units and services on our McNair Campus,” said Gay Nord, market president, Baylor St. Luke’s. “Taking these steps toward realizing our vision for a medical epicenter on the McNair Campus, within this beautiful, state-of-the-art facility is extremely gratifying.”

“This expansion to the McNair Campus signifies important long-term growth for Baylor St. Luke’s” said Dr. Paul Klotman, president and CEO, Baylor College of Medicine.

Not only will the Baylor St. Luke’s McNair Campus offer state-of-the-art services in a serene patient-centered setting, but developing these services at the McNair Campus will increase capacity at the current Texas Medical Center location for more complex surgical cases, including those treated by the nationally-recognized Baylor St. Luke’s Transplant Program.

Baylor St. Luke’s plans to invest in both the Texas Medical Center and McNair campuses to better serve patients and their families in the Greater Houston Area.
