Memorial Medical Center-Livingston welcomes Ola Caverly, M.D. to the medical staff in Polk County. Dr. Caverly specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, including laproscopic procedures, and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Caverly served for three years as a captain in the United States Air Force Medical Service Corps. She comes to Livingston from the Reeves County Hospital District in Pecos, Texas, following a lengthy medical tenure in multiple hospitals across the state. She has worked at the Sheppard Air Force Base in Witchita Falls, Texas, and also owned a private practice.
“There is a tremendous need in our area to grow our obstetrician and gynecological staff, and we would like to welcome Dr. Caverly to Polk County,” Memorial Medical Center-Livingston Administrator David LeMonte said. “She has a true passion for what she does, and she takes the time to listen to her patients’ needs. Because of her experience in performing minimally invasive surgeries, Dr. Caverly brings a new skill set that we are excited to offer to the community here.”
She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Caverly graduated from the University of Wisconsin with her doctorate of medicine degree. She completed her residential training and was the Chief Resident at the University of Texas Health and Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Caverly is now seeing patients at the Memorial Multi-Specialty Center located at 403 Ogletree Drive, Suite 205 in Livingston. Patients can schedule an appointment by calling 936-327-5686. Her office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to noon.
Her office accepts most major insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
