New Emergency Department Opening This Fall in Livingston
The new state-of-the-art Emergency Department at CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Livingston should be completed by October 2017. This panoramic view shows some of the work currently being done.
Whether it’s a heart attack, stroke, broken bone or other significant trauma, patients in Polk County will soon be treated in the new state-of-the-art Emergency Department at St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Livingston.
Hospital leadership, along with community leaders and officials with the CHI Texas Division, broke ground at the new facility last year, and project manager Ryan Herr said the construction of the 23,500-square-foot center is coming along nicely.
“We are currently framing walls, hanging drywall, ‘roughing in,’ reconfiguring parking and driveways, and erecting new entrance and ambulance canopies,” Herr said. “There’s a lot going on right now to get it ready, and we’re looking forward to unveiling the new Emergency Department to the residents of Polk County.”
