New Internal Medicine Physician Joins Livingston Medical Staff

The medical staff at Memorial Medical Center—Livingston continues to expand as more physicians, from family and internal medicine practitioners to general surgeons and cardiologists, move their practices to the Texas Forest Country.  Ankur Sarkar, M.D. is the newest addition to the 60 plus member medical community in Polk County.  As a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Sarkar specializes in Diabetes, Thyroid disorders and the prevention and treatment of adult diseases.  He joins Memorial Multispecialty Associates at 403 Ogletree Drive in Livingston.

Dr. Sarkar has more than 13 years of private practice experience. He is the former Chief of Staff and Chief of Internal Medicine at El Campo Memorial Hospital & Mid Coast Medical Clinic. Prior to earning his private practice experience, Dr. Sarkar completed his Internal Medicine Residency at New York Medical College.
