Posted in:

St. Luke’s Health welcomes Elizabeth Wanner, MD, to St. Luke’s Medical Group Tomball, where she will practice Family Medicine. Dr. Wanner will also provide patient care at St. Luke’s Health–The Vintage Hospital (The Vintage Hospital).

“We’re delighted to have Dr. Wanner join our team,” said Norman F. Stephens, President, The Vintage Hospital. “She possesses a strong passion for community-based healthcare and I’m confident she will strengthen our Family Medicine practice by providing the best possible care to her patients.”

With more than 26 years of experience, Dr. Wanner specializes in the preventive aspect of Family Medicine. Her services include Well-Woman Exams, Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic & Acute Pain Management, and Wound Care. Recently, she added Functional Medicine, a medical practice that engages both the patient and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership, to her practice. This patient-centered approach addresses the whole person, rather than just the isolated set of symptoms to assess the underlying causes of disease.

“It’s great to be a part of the St. Luke’s family,” said Dr. Wanner. “I’m excited to introduce to the community a new approach that will better address the evolving healthcare needs of our patients and their families.”

Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Dr. Wanner was the Hospice Medical Director at Kindred Hospital. Presently, Dr. Wanner is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Texas Medical Association, and The American Physicians and Surgeons Association. She earned a medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School–Houston and completed her residency at the UT Memorial Hermann Residency Program.

St. Luke’s Health–The Vintage Hospital’s primary care facility is located at 20207 Chasewood Park Drive, Suite 300, at Highway 249 and Chasewood Park Drive. For more information, call 832-534-7800 or visit StLukesVintage.com.
