Because the situation surrounding COVID-19 is constantly evolving, some information may not be up to date. Stay informed by following information from your local officials and by visiting the Texas Department of State Health Services website.
No virus can weaken our mission at St. Luke’s Health.
As we are all getting back into our lives, it’s important for you to know that no one is more concerned about the safety of your health than we are. If you visit any of our care centers, be assured that we are actively isolating anyone with COVID-19 symptoms and adhering to all of the safety standards to protect our patients. All patients and visitors are screened before entering the building. It is important not to delay seeking treatment when you need it.
Our emergency centers, hospitals, and clinics are open to serve the entire community. We understand you may have concerns about visiting a hospital if you don’t have COVID-19 symptoms. You can trust we are following the guidance of our clinical leaders, in partnership with Baylor College of Medicine, and have precautions in place to ensure our facilities are safe. This is how we’re doing it:
Staying on top of your health has never been more important, whether it’s an ongoing health concern, a routine checkup, or a procedure. Don’t let social distancing stop you and don’t wait until it becomes an emergency.
We are prepared to safely resume scheduled procedures and surgeries and are working closely with our physicians and experts to determine which procedures can safely be performed, where they can be performed, and when they can be performed. If you have a procedure already scheduled, we look forward to welcoming you into our facilities.
We take our responsibility to protect your health, and the health of our community, seriously. As we always have. And always will.
