Our Mission

The International Services Team at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center strives to provide high-quality care to international patients and their family members. We hope to create a positive hospital experience by bridging cultural and language differences, providing personal support, and accommodating service requests. All members are instrumental in assisting the development of transcultural patient care practices in order to provide efficient, holistic, caring, and culturally-congruent care for all patients.

Additionally, we work to improve the health of communities all around the world by distributing information and offering educational programs.

Our History

In December 1991, our International Patient Center was created as part of Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center to meet our international patients’ increasing health needs.
