St. Luke’s Health OBGYN teams offer comprehensive preconception care as well as routine and high-risk prenatal care for women throughout their pregnancy. Our experienced health care professionals, including board-certified OBGYNs and neonatologists, obstetrical nurses, neonatal nurses, and support team, are specially trained to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Caritas Women’s Care at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Group Sugar Land also offers on-site education about two new innovative women’s health services— the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System (CrMS) and NaProTECHNOLOGY™— both scientific approaches to managing reproductive health.

Our commitment to give each mother a happy birth day is demonstrated through our approach to patient care and the atmosphere of our facility.
Labor progresses through three stages: The first stage involves early contractions gradually increasing in intensity and frequency, followed by active labor. The second stage begins with full cervical dilation, prompting mom to push. Finally, in the third stage, the uterus contracts to expel the placenta. Throughout these stages, healthcare providers monitor and support both the mother and baby to ensure a safe and healthy delivery.
