MAIL, FLOWERS, AND BALLOONS
Mail, flowers, and balloons will be delivered to your room. However, mail received after discharge will be forwarded to your home. For your convenience, we offer free internet for our patients and their visitors. To access the internet, connect to the BRHS-Guest wireless system. No password is required. Then open your web browser and enter your email address when prompted. You now have access to the internet.
Phone calls to patient rooms can be made during the hours of 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Each patient has a separate phone number that can be dialed directly. If you do not know your direct-dial phone number, your healthcare provider can give you that number.
For free local calls, dial “9” for the dial tone, and then dial the number you wish to reach. Long-distance calls can be placed by dialing “9-0” for an outside operator. Long-distance calls must be made collect or charged to your credit card or calling card. No calls can be charged to your room.
An individual television with cable is provided in all patient rooms. Patient educational tapes are available through each patient care area. (A VCR can be provided for educational purposes.)
