In order to maintain the health of our delivering families as well as our visitors, we are temporarily postponing all classes and support groups offered at our Family Birthing Center. If you have already registered for one, a member of our team will reach out shortly with further details.
We want you to feel supported during this unforeseen time and know you can always reach out to us even after you go home for questions or concerns. The birth of your baby is one of the most exciting events in your life. It is a moment you will cherish and remember always. Whether this is your first or fifth, at CHI St Luke’s Health–The Woodlands Hospital, we offer a variety of classes to help prepare you for childbirth and help you feel more comfortable taking care of yourself and your new baby. Our classes and fees are meant for you and a support person to attend.
Learn where to go and why CHI St. Luke’s Health–The Woodlands will give you a VIP—very important pregnancy—experience! You will find compassionate, personalized family-centered care for you and your new baby! Familiarize yourself with our birth suites and ask questions of our child birth educators. Tours start outside the Family Birthing Center entrance on the second floor, and the whole family is welcome! No registration required.
Length of Tour: approximately 20–30 minutes
The birth of a baby is already challenging, but having a baby during a pandemic can create added stress and uncertainty, making it hard to prepare for one of the most exciting events in your life. "Join" us as a group zoom to discuss about the challenges, stresses and experiences we have learned.
This series of classes helps prepare you for the labor and delivery experience here through a free virtual class.
This class is your first step to learning the basics about breastfeeding and what to expect in the first few weeks. You will learn about the benefits of breastfeeding as well as multiple techniques to help you succeed. We encourage partners or a family member to attend with the expectant mom.
