Newborn Care: We've Had a Baby... Now What Do We Do?

In order to maintain the health of our delivering families as well as our visitors, we are temporarily postponing all classes and support groups offered at our Family Birthing Center. If you have already registered for one, a member of our team will reach out shortly with further details.

We want you to feel supported during this unforeseen time and know you can always reach out to us even after you go home for questions or concerns. The company we order our education books from has provided a link , and online Childbirth and Breastfeeding classes can be accessed here. Please feel free to use this link and share.  Our instructors look forward to having more classes and support groups in the future!

You can also reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions in regards to childbirth, newborn care or breastfeeding.

This one-time class includes topics such as care of mom and baby, diapering, bathing, helpful hints for adjusting to new roles, and health safety issues. At CHI St Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital, we are here with you every step of the way! Please do not hesitate to call our education line at 936-266-2232 or email [email protected].
