Acute Care Inpatient Therapy

Our therapy services staff provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/language pathology to patients in the hospital setting. Therapy is provided in the patient’s room in both Lufkin and Livingston.

A screening process will be conducted by a medical doctor that involves evaluation and review to determine appropriateness for therapy services.

The rehabilitation unit team consists of highly skilled clinicians from a variety of fields who work together to meet our patients’ needs.

  • Licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists working with patients and families to help restore maximum level of function
  • 24-hour nursing care, seven days a week
  • Access to a case manager to assist with social and discharge needs
  • Dieticians assist with dietary needs to help with recovery
