Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Pelvic floor physical therapy is a non-surgical approach to treating pelvic dysfunction. Possible conditions include but are not limited to incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, episiotomy, pelvic pain, vulvar pain, and interstitial cystitis. A  qualified physical therapist will assess muscle strength, tone, activation and tenderness to determine a treatment plan that is unique and appropriate for you. Based on your clinical presentation, your treatment plan can involve strengthening, stretching, muscle up training or down training, mediation, bladder retraining and behavioral modification.
