Monte Bostwick

Monte Bostwick

Market CEO/President

As the Market Chief Executive Officer and President, Monte Bostwick is responsible for strategic planning and St. Luke's Health-Memorial's integration with Catholic Health Initiatives. He works closely with CHI Texas Division and Memorial leaders, staff, and physicians to enhance healthcare delivery and strengthen the quality and effectiveness of services provided to our patients and the community. Mr. Bostwick began his tenure with St. Luke's Health-Memorial as the Market CEO/President in 2016.

Mr. Bostwick previously served as CEO of Merit Health in Biloxi, Mississippi, an acute care, 198-bed private hospital with a joint venture ASC and multiple physician clinics in a highly competitive market. Before that he served as CEO at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center in Yakima, Washington, CEO at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory, Mississippi, and CEO/COO at Toppenish Community Hospital in Toppenish, Washington.

Mr. Bostwick earned a Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lubbock Christian University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and served on the Mississippi Hospital Association Legislative & Systems of Care Committees.

He and his wife Mandy have four children Ian, Gracen, Canaan and Kash.

Mary Franklin

Market Vice President, Patient Care Services

Mary Franklin joined the Memorial team as Market Vice President of Patient Care Services in 2017. With more than 25 years of experience in health care, Ms. Franklin works closely with the nursing staff across the system providing clinical leadership.

Ms. Franklin came to East Texas from Merit Health Biloxi in Biloxi, Mississippi, where she has served since 2014 as Chief Nursing Officer. Prior to her service at Merit Health, Ms. Franklin was the Chief Nursing Executive for six years at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory, Mississippi. She moved up the ranks at Gilmore Memorial as a PRN nurse working on her bachelor and master’s degree in Nursing, and then served as the Women and Children’s Health Services Director for four years.

In addition to her Master’s degree from Samford University, a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Alabama and graduating from Itawamba Community College, Ms. Franklin is currently working toward a Doctorate degree in Nursing Leadership.

Darlene Williams

Vice President of Clinical Operations, St. Luke's Health-Memorial San Augustine

As Vice President of Clinical Operations for St. Luke's Health-Memorial San Augustine, Darlene Williams is responsible for the daily operations of the hospital, including staffing, budgetary preparation, quality of care and customer satisfaction.

Ms. Williams has more than 25 years health care experience with St. Luke's Health-Memorial. In fact, Ms. Williams has worked across the hospital system an Associate Administrator, Director of Nursing, Director of Critical Care Nursing, and Director of Medical Surgical Nursing.

Ms. Williams is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is a member of the American Institute of Outcomes, Case Management; and Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Locally, Ms. Williams is a member of the San Augustine Chamber of Commerce and is the chairperson for the Rural East Texas Health Network.

Kristi Froese

Vice President of Clinical Operations, St. Luke's Health-Memorial Livingston

As Vice President of Clinical Operations for St. Luke's Health-Memorial Livingston, Kristi Froese oversees the clinical aspect of the hospital’s day to day operations, supervises nurses and nurse managers, and facilitates the design and implements the delivery of patient care.

Mrs. Froese has extensive experience in adult and pediatric acute care, as well as nursing management and supervision. She comes to Livingston from Wichita, Kansas, where she was the Pediatric Nursing Director at Wesley Medical Center, a large HCA facility delivering more than 6,000 babies per year.

Mrs. Froese received her masters degree in Health Care Leadership from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and her bachelor degree in Nursing from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma.

David Bailey, M.D., FACS

David Bailey, M.D., FACS

Market Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Bailey, a Board Certified Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) physician, serves as the Market Chief Medical Officer for St. Luke's Health-Memorial. He represents the medical staff and advises the hospital's senior management team on matters of public health importance.

Dr. Bailey began practicing medicine more than 20 years ago. He attended Louisiana State University School (LSU) of Medicine in New Orleans where he received his doctorate degree in 1987. He completed a residency in preliminary general surgery at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and Otolaryngology (head and neck surgery) at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Bailey also completed a one year fellowship at the Kresge Hearing Research Institute in New Orleans.

He diagnoses and manages diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, larynx (voice box), mouth, and throat, as well as structures of the neck and face. He specializes in pediatric ENT, hearing loss, surgical correction of chronic nasal congestion and nasal allergies.

Dan Watson

Market Vice President of Physician Enterprise

As St. Luke's Health-Memorial’s Market Vice President of Physician Enterprises, Dan Watson’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the growth and development of Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group (formerly Memorial Clinics), physician recruitment, and seeking additional opportunities to grow with our physician partners.

While at St. Joseph in Bryan, Texas, Mr. Watson was operationally responsible for 16 primary care, urgent care and ENT practices, including 120 employees and 45 providers. During that time he reduced expenses, increased employee satisfaction from the 70th percentile to the 94th percentile and was responsible for the on-boarding of several multi-specialty practices.

Prior to moving to Texas, Mr. Watson served as Director of Operations for Gentiva Home Health – the nation’s largest provider of home health and hospice services – in Little Rock, and the Director of Business Development for Gentiva Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri. He got his start in health care as the Administrator of a 160-bed long term care facility in Kansas City.

Mr. Watson graduated with his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Webster University in 2011 and his Bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University in 2003. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Geriatric Society.

Stacy Garcia

Market Administrator of Service Lines

As Market Administrator of Service Lines for St. Luke’s Health-Memorial, Stacy Garcia’s primary responsibilities are to grow and develop a partnership between the hospital operations and physician partners within the service lines, as well as explore and develop opportunities for growth in cardiovascular, hospitalist and emergency medicine service lines within the market.

Ms. Garcia has 20 years of health care experience, including more than 12 years in nursing/hospital management and operations. She began her career at Memorial as a Radiological Technologist, and throughout her career she has had the opportunity to work in the Texas Medical Center at Kindred Hospital – Houston as the Director of Critical Care and working with Memorial Herman Liver Transplant Center, MD Anderson, The Methodist Hospital – LVAD/Transplant program, and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital – LVAD Program. She also had the privilege of starting- up Triumph Hospital – Tomball, as the Chief Clinical Officer.

In 2008, Ms. Garcia returned to Lufkin to be a key player of the start-up team for the Heart and Stroke Center at St. Luke’s Health-Memorial. During the past seven years, she served in various administrative roles, including Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial.

Ms. Garcia graduated from Corrigan–Camden High School and received her Masters of Business Administration in Health Care Management and Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University, and Associate of Applied Science in Radiological Technology from Angelina College.

Tina Alexander-Sellers

Market Director of Marketing & Communications

As Market Director of Marketing and Communications, Tina Alexander-Sellers develops strategic marketing programs and partnerships across the three-hospital system to advance the organization's mission, vision and goals of creating healthier communities. Ms. Alexander-Sellers has worked for St. Luke’s Health-Memorial since 2012, previously guiding its Community Outreach and Physician Relations team.

Prior to her work at St. Luke's Health-Memorial, Ms. Alexander-Sellers was News Director at KTRE-TV where she successfully recruited and developed a diverse staff of reporters and news operations personnel that maintained a #1 viewership ranking in the marketplace.

As a community volunteer, she serves on the Angelina County United Way Board and Budget Committee and is the hospital's campaign chair. She also serves on the Volunteer Services Council for Lufkin State Assisted Living Center, and is a member of the Angelina County Health Alliance, Angelina County Active Living Council, City of Lufkin Steering Committee and is president of the Lufkin Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Ms. Alexander-Sellers is the recipient of many awards, including most recently, the prestigious Individual of Merit Award given to exceptional health care professionals by the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and the 2018 recipient of the Hospital of the Year Award presented by Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.

She is a graduate of Lufkin High School, Stephen F. Austin State University and McCormick Tribune Fellows Program-Media Management Center, Northwestern University.

Curtis Prunty

Market Director of Mission Integration

As St. Luke’s Health-Memorial’s first Market Director of Mission Integration, Curtis Prunty facilitates awareness of the ministry as a sacred work of healing dedicated to holistic care of body, mind and spirit.

Mr. Prunty helps the hospital and its staff to live out our core values of reverence for all we serve and for all creation; integrity in everything we do; compassion in solidarity with patients, families and communities; and excellence, giving top quality care in every encounter. Mr. Prunty oversees Spiritual Care Services, the Ethics dimension of our ministry, Workplace Spirituality and Healthy Communities.

Curtis comes to us from Joplin, Missouri where he is senior minister at Mt. Hope Church and adjunct instructor at Ozark Christian College. Curtis has a Bachelor’s of Christian Ministry from Ozark Christian College and a Master’s of Organizational Leadership from Lincoln Christian University.
